On the University of Twente campus (Netherlands), the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) celebrated its 25th anniversary.
The celebration brought together representatives of all member universities and the business and social environment working with the consortium. There was also a ceremonial board meeting at which the rector of the Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, was present:
"As a member of ECIU, we create a common space to solve the challenges facing European universities. We do this in an innovative way by providing individual opportunities for learning and careers, including research, at the European level, enabled by ECIU's innovative university model, based on co-creation. We look forward to many more years of cooperation with the universities in the consortium."
