ECIU University Research Conference aims to move beyond traditional conference structures and embody a challenge-based approach by providing an interactive forum for discussing common challenges, forging partnerships of societal stakeholders, and contributing to the implementation of shared policies to enhance the resilience of cities and society. This event will bring together societal stakeholders to showcase challenge-based research outcomes, share best practices of innovative research approaches, and explore/initiate potential collaborations for common solutions to societal issues.

It is organized by the ECIU University under the project “ECIU University Research Institute for SMART European Regions” (SMART-ER), which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, and the Erasmus+ project “ECIU University” (ECIUn+), and led by a Scientific Committee composed of members from 12 ECIU universities.
