A new ECIU challenge organised at our university invites you in!
Are you ready to collaborate with a world-wide stakeholder and transform its managing industrial organization system? Through a real-world, challenge-based project, and working on-line and face-to-face in international teams, you will connect global and local issues and actions to design impactful solutions.
You will develop analytical, problem-framing, critical thinking, teamworking and leadership skills through business simulations. During the face-to-face meeting, you will engage in workshops, experience a factory tour, listen to guest speakers and experts who will offer business insights.
If you are studying at Lodz University of Technology, this challenge offers you an extraordinary chance to be a part of ECIU. Participation gives you a chance of collecting 6 ECTS in the summer semester 2024/2025. The challenge will be provided by two well-known enterprises: Revas.pl and JTI Company.
In this learning opportunity, conducted by the Faculty of Organization and Management of Lodz University of Technology in collaboration with Kaunas University of Technology and Dublin City University, students have the opportunity to participate in remote classes, where they gain knowledge and skills in CBL and computer simulation methods, as well as a face-to-face week in Łódź, Poland.
Who can participate?
This challenge is targeted at students of business faculties and those interested in synchronous/asynchronous learning through computer simulations. You will be introduced to the CBL method, Miro, Wikamp Port (Lodz University of Technology learning management system LMS), and the specifics of computer simulations, and work collaboratively in project teams consisting of approximately 3 to 5 people. Emphasis is placed on communication, feedback, peer learning, and self-development. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate of participation and a certification in computer simulation issued by the REVAS company.
