In mid-May, three TUL staff members travelled to Linköping University (LiU) in Sweden to participate in a joint face to face meeting of 3 work packages (Community Building, Marketing & Communication and User Experience/Mobility Officers group).
The meeting was held on beautiful Linköping campus over two days and it gathered over 50 professionals from all 12 universities.
TUL was represented by members of two work packages and one group of professionals: the Community Building work package (WP5), Marketing & Communication work package (WP9) and Mobility Officers group.
Some of the key activities and topics discussed during the meetings included: a workshop called 'the user journey' which focused on developing measures aiming to decrease the number of student drop outs, a WP9 session 'strategic communication with measurable results', a Mobility Officers' session focused on admission and mobility flows as well as a WP5 session dedicated to student engagement strategy.
Here is how our colleagues from the Central Office summarised the event:
Over 50 colleagues from all 12 member universities gathered in Linköping to discuss topics related to admissions, mobility, community building, and communication. The two-day interactive workshops focused on the current and future student journey within ECIU University. The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration across work packages to strengthen connecting processes and address key bottlenecks.
The meeting also underscored how essential face-to-face interaction is, alongside daily online communication. Embracing different countries, cultures, and personalities while building a thriving community — this is what makes ECIU University a true European University.
