A research team in the area of Energy & Sustainability operating at Lodz University of Technology as part of the ECIU, coordinated by Professor Paweł Rózga from the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering - the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering, is now looking for researchers interested in the idea of sustainability of energy sector and related areas.
Energy & Sustainability is a research area that encompasses a range of issues related to the production, distribution, and consumption of energy, taking into account aspects such as supply security, affordability, and environmental sustainability, as well as the resources of individual regions. Therefore, maintaining a balance between the expectations for adopting new solutions and the actual capabilities of a given region is particularly important in this area. Energy and sustainable development projects may include, among others, the following areas:
- energy transformation in the field of electricity and heat
- sustainability in the field of production and distribution of energy
- energy and sustainability in transport
- sustainability in various branches of industry
- carbon footprint
- biodegradable materials, recycling, and many more.
