From 24th until 27th September, TUL hosted an international summer school, “Teaching TUL - Immersive Summer School”. The event was held in Załęcze Wielkie and it was delivered in collaboration with ECIU.
The event participants, who consisted of academic staff from TUL and other ECIU partner universities, had an opportunity to further develop their competences in the field of challenge-based learning (CBL) as well as to learn more about modern teaching tools, group work methods and assessment techniques.
During the 5-day-long event, participants analyzed complex problems related to the topics of the European Diploma and Flexible Learning Pathways, and developed creative solutions using the CBL life cycle. Thanks to collaboration with international partners and knowledge acquired during the training, each participant gained new skills and competences which will enable them to develop their own challenges and micro-modules within the ECIU network.
The Immersive Summer School was also an excellent opportunity to foster integration and create a sense of community among the consortium's academic staff.
