The call for applications for the Team Impact Award 2026 is now open. This ECIU University award recognises teams that, through the implementation of an ECIU Challenge, have developed solutions delivering tangible and positive impact for local communities.
All members of the ECIU University community are invited to apply, including researchers, so-called teamchers, learners, and external partners who have participated in the implementation of an ECIU University Challenge over the past year. The call is addressed to teams of up to four members who wish to showcase the outcomes of their work as well as the process that led to the developed solutions.
The deadline for submitting applications is 31 March 2026.
The winning team will be invited to take part in the ECIU University Forum 2026, which will be held on 16–17 June 2026 at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), with travel and accommodation costs covered. In addition, the winning team will receive a professionally produced video presenting the challenge, its outcomes, and the achieved societal impact, as well as a certificate confirming the receipt of the award. Information about the awarded project will also be published on the ECIU website and social media channels.
