On 28–29 April, Lodz University of Technology hosted a meeting of the WP8 working group within the ECIUn+ project. The event brought together 10 representatives from partner universities across the ECIU consortium, alongside colleagues from the host institution.
The two-day meeting had a workshop-based format. Its primary aim was to review the progress made so far in supporting the professional development of academic staff within the consortium, as well as to discuss future directions for enhancing teaching competencies. A key element of the programme was also the testing and further development of tools related to the challenge-based learning approach.
The interactive format encouraged the exchange of experiences and good practices, while also creating space for in-depth reflection on the effectiveness of ongoing activities. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen collaboration among project partners.
ECIU (European Consortium of Innovative Universities) is a network of European universities working together to develop innovative approaches to education, research, and collaboration with society and industry. The ECIUn+ project focuses, among other priorities, on implementing modern teaching methods and strengthening the competencies of academic staff.
