The ECIU University is looking for a new Director who would oversee the overall strategic development of the ECIU alliance.

An ideal candidate would have a wide managerial experience combined with strong analytical skills and an ability to understand the strategic trends in higher education. The future ECIU University Director must also have a thorough understanding of the legal and administrative conditionalities of the higher education systems at the EU Member State level.

Main responsibilities of the future ECIU University Director will include:

• The overall strategic development of ECIU University includes the programmatic approach, which is coordinated thematically by the Central Supportive Capacity (CSC) Team.  

• Management of the Central Support Capacity of the ECIU University with the aim to create sustainability of ECIU University beyond the project phase. 

• The programme consists of projects that directly develop the ECIU University, such as ECIUn+, with the aim of maintaining the coherence of long-term developments.  

• Stakeholder management representing ECIU University within and outside the consortium. 

• Make key decisions related to the program's direction, scope, and major milestones as far as they are within the mandate of the coordinating institution and agreed upon by the Presidium.
