Lodz University of Technology has received funding from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange for the project ECIU4Ukraine, which will be implemented in cooperation with the European Consortium of Innovative Universities.
How can European Universities achieve a deeper, longer-term and more flexible form of cooperation? With EU support, the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) is set to explore this question and the possibility of a European status for European Universities.
ECIU, YUFE AND EPICUR will lead an innovative approach to the European Degree. Together with two other European University Alliances, ECIU University will lead a pilot project to shape the future European Degree and to pilot an innovative approach with strong support of the European Commission.

On the University of Twente campus (Netherlands), the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) celebrated its 25th anniversary.
The European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), [of which TUL is a partner], is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The 14 member institutions will reflect on this on Thursday 15 December with the ECIU "Back to the Future" exhibition and various festivities and meetings on UT campus, Enschede.
"In November, we are celebrating 3 years of ECIU University. It is an important threshold as we are transitioning from the first pilot phase to the start-up European University.

First TUL students attended a summer school organized by the University of Twente as part of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (#ECIU). In their account of this event, they describe activities they took part in, new relationships and new skills they learned. They strongly encourage others to participate as well.
The European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), a member of which TUL is, was granted the European Union Erasmus programme support to continue building ECIU University. Lodz University of Technology, as a full member of the ECIU, joined the application process and will take on an active role in the project implementation.
ECIU University thansforms higher education to become an open ecosystem for solving real-life challenges, doing research and learning for life.
