Poznań became a meeting point for representatives of European higher education institutions, including Lodz University of Technology, during two important events dedicated to the European Universities Initiative: the 3rd European Universities Conference and the 1st European Universities Practitioners Forum.

Lodz University of Technology is pleased to announce that an international conference “Towards a joint European Degree: Perspectives from across the ECIU Alliance” will be held on 29–30 September 2026 on our campus, bringing together participants from ECIU member institutions, other European University alliances, and beyond.

In April, the ECIU information stand was present at several events at TUL, where we spoke with students and doctoral candidates about the educational opportunities available to them thanks to our membership in the ECIU network.

The call for applications for the Team Impact Award 2026 is now open. This ECIU University award recognises teams that, through the implementation of an ECIU Challenge, have developed solutions delivering tangible and positive impact for local communities.

ECIU was awarded the 'Co-Create to Educate: International Collaboration Award' for the development of the Engage platform during the Joint and Double Programmes in Europe conference, held in late 2025 in Lodz.
