ECIU office at TUL will be closed on the 4th of May.

More than 200 participants joined our high-level impact event to discuss how European Universities alliances can boost Europe’s competitiveness and drive meaningful societal transformation.

TUL's International Cooperation Centre runs a qualitative study aiming to explore how our ECIU partners develop joint or double degree programmes and to gather institutional perspectives on the upcoming European Degree Label.

Between 1st and 30th April 2026, you can count your steps and take part in the European Universities Walking Challenge. The prize pool is now around 4000€ and is growing with every new participant.

We warmly invite both students and staff interested in shaping the next editions of the ECIU University Student Ambassador Programme to join a 2-hour online workshop hosted by the WP5 Ambassador Task Force on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.

It is an opportunity to start new collaborations and develop new ideas and research projects with other ECIU researchers in the fields "Energy & Sustainability", "Transport & Mobility", "Health & Wellbeing" or "Digital Transformation".

Applications to participate in the ECIU University Forum 2026 are now open!

The call for applications for the Team Impact Award 2026 is now open. This ECIU University award recognises teams that, through the implementation of an ECIU Challenge, have developed solutions delivering tangible and positive impact for local communities.

In October, TUL hosted students from the Portugal and Lithuania, who came to Lodz to join our students in tackling a Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) task titled Sustainable Transitions & Reliable Engineering for Automated Manufacturing (STREAM).

Lodz University of Technology hosted nearly 90 representatives of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), representing 12 partner universities from Europe and one from Mexico. The event, held on 23–26 September 2025, was a series of key meetings, including the ECIU Board session.
