On June 10–11, 2025, the picturesque city of Trento, Italy, became the meeting point for over 200 participants from 13 countries during this year’s ECIU University Forum, hosted by Università di Trento. It brought together students, researchers, teachers, administrative staff, and external stakeholders to exchange ideas and shape the future of European education and research.

ECIU Research Seed Programme 2025 has been launched! The Programme consists of 2 action lines: Blended Mobility to Create New Networks & Seed Projects for Existing Consortia. Researchers from TUL, DCU, INSA, KTU, UAB, UAveiro can submit joint proposals until 31st Oct 2025.

In mid-May, three TUL staff members travelled to Linköping University (LiU) in Sweden to participate in a joint face to face meeting of 3 work packages (Community Building, Marketing & Communication and User Experience/Mobility Officers group).

The AI hackathon, held in March 2025 in Tampere, Finland, was one of the largest student events of ECIU University, and the largest multinational on-site challenge organized by Tampere University. The participants came from eight universities across Europe.

Research Support Centre at TUL has launched a call for applications to the 1st Edition of the ECIU University Research Mobility FUND for academic teachers and PhD students of Lodz University of Technology. The project is carried out under the NAWA (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange) Programme "Support of European Universities".
